Industry Visits from Our Department

Turkish Informatics Association (TBD)
Our faculty members from the Ankara University Software Engineering Department visited the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD), one of the most established associations in the field of informatics in our country. During this visit, the work carried out by TBD on technology and innovation, developments in the field of informatics in Turkey, and potential collaborations between academia and industry were discussed. Ideas were exchanged on shaping software engineering education according to industry needs, improving internship and employment opportunities for our students, and projects that could be jointly implemented.
Visit to the TOBB Turkey Software Assembly
Our faculty members from the Software Engineering Department visited the TOBB Turkey Software Assembly. During this visit, topics such as potential collaborations, employment opportunities for our students, the alignment between our educational curricula and industry needs were discussed and evaluated.


Career and Future Meetings – STM Defense
At our faculty, in the first event of the “Career and Future Meetings” organized by our department, we hosted “STM Defense.” The speakers shared information on employment and internship opportunities in the defense industry, the stages of recruitment processes, the competencies expected from students, and the impact of internship performance on full-time employment.
